On December 6th, Ekolu are set to play a special show at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale.

The band hail from Hawaii - and the region has absolutely characterised their sound since the release of their debut album - which was entitled Down in the Valley - back in 1999.

There will undoubtedly be something on offer for long-standing fans of the group and newcomers alike.

Deeper cuts from their back catalogue of studio albums are likely to accompany selections from their latest - Simply for Love.

Entry for the Scottsdale gig costs $25 plus booking fees - and visitors to the city who have booked rooms at the Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch could find that they are perfectly placed to access the venue.

A short, four-mile stretch of the North Scottsdale Road is all that separates the locations.

The distance can be covered in ten minutes by driving or jumping in a taxi.
