Hair-metal rock show hits Scottsdale
From 10 February 2013 To 10 February 2013Address
Martini Ranch, 7295 E Stetson Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, United States
For many, the 1980s was characterised by garish neon excess and synthesizer-sprinkled pop hits.
However, synthpop was not the only genre that was dominant in that decade, as stadium rock went similarly OTT and spawned hair metal.
Acts like Poison, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Skid Row, The Scorpions, Van Halen and Guns N Roses are just some of the fine examples of this style.
On February 10th, the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be paying tribute to these fine musicians.
Metalhead are a local band who resurrect classic tracks of this ilk and bring them to a sweaty and raucous night of entertainment.
Tickets are available on the night and the doors open at 10:30 p.m. MST.
Visitors to the city who are hoping to find a place to stay may wish to consider booking rooms at the Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch.
This is ideally situated a short, 15-minute drive up the road from the venue.
