Todd Snider is a phenomenally talented singer-songwriter who has been active on the live music circuit in the US since 1994.

His debut album - which was entitled Songs for the Daily Planet - came out the same year.

Snider has been remarkably prolific, issuing a further 12 albums since then - in addition to a greatest hits compilation and a B-sides and rarities CD.

Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables - his latest effort - was only just released last year.

The musician is currently on the road in support of this release - and he is due to travel to New York on March 8th to play a gig at the Irving Plaza.

Entry costs just $24.50 plus booking fees - and residents at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel will find that they are around two miles from the venue.

The distance is easily covered in less than ten minutes by jumping in a cab.
