Address Winter Garden Theater, New York

Fans of the music created by Abba are sure to have heard of the international phenomenon that is Mamma Mia!, the musical woven around the group's hits.

However, those who stay in New York hotels without experiencing the magic of the Broadway version really are missing out.

Mamma Mia! is now celebrating more than a decade on New York's Great White Way and continues to be one of its most popular productions ever.

This success could be down to the musical being more than just a tribute to Abba - instead, it tells the story of a young woman named Sophie, who decides to try and find out who her real father is on the eve of her mother's wedding.

To the strains of smash hits like Dancing Queen and Take a Chance on Me, Sophie meets the three men who crossed paths with her mum Donna many moons ago and finds herself on a voyage of self-discovery which unfolds as they holiday on a beautiful Greek island.

Sure to appeal to appeal to anyone who likes an uplifting tale, as well as those who danced to Abba hits back in the '70s and '80s, this all-singing, all-dancing show will leave New York hotel visitors smiling from ear to ear.

The Winter Garden Theater is situated a five-minute, two-block walk from the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York.
