New York is blessed with a plethora of fantastic museums and galleries - many of which are famous all around the world.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is definitely one establishment that is revered on a global scale and people travel to New York in their droves to see its fine collection of masterpieces.
On August 18th, the museum will launch its Chinese Gardens exhibition, which will highlight the importance of rural space in heavily populated parts of the Asian country.
As well as more than 60 paintings, visitors can also cast their eye over ceramics, metalwork, carved bamboo, textiles and photographs, all of which show how gardens have changed over a thousand-year period.
The exhibition will run until January 6th 2013, so there will be plenty of time to see the collection.

Either take the subway or jump on the M42 bus, before changing to the M2 service.
