The Queers are an underground punk band who have managed to attain near-legendary status.

In their initial guise, they were relatively short lived, forming in 1981, recording just two EPs and splitting in 1984.

However, they reunited in 1990 and finally came out with a full-length studio album - which was entitled Grow Up and released the same year.

A further ten LPs followed on from this - with the most recent being 2010's Back to the Basement.

New material is in the pipeline - and on March 2nd, they are due to travel to New York in order to entertain a crowd of delighted fans at the Santos Party House.

Residents at the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York will find that they are able to get to the venue in around 15 minutes in a car - or jumping in a taxi is a simple enough alternative in the Big Apple.
