The Summer Set are a pop rock band who were formed in Scottsdale, Arizona back in 2007.

Despite their relatively short lifespan, they have been remarkably prolific.

It took them just a little longer than 12 months to release than three EPs prior to their debut full-length album.

This was entitled Love Like This and it came out in 2009 - and in terms of their sound, The Summer Set took inspiration from other big name acts hailing from the same state - such as emo rock giants Jimmy Eat World.

On March 19th, the group are set to travel to New York to play a gig at the city's Gramercy Theatre.

Entry costs $16 plus $9 in booking fees - and residents at the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York will find that they are able to get to the venue in under ten minutes if they drive or jump in a taxi.
