Led Zeppelin tribute play New York
| Date | From 22 March 2013 To 22 March 2013 |
| Address | Gramercy Theatre, 127 E 23rd St, New York, NY 10010, United States |
Led Zeppelin were one of the most highly regarded rock bands to come out of the UK in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
At a time when the genre was still in its relative infancy, they took its rootsy, bluesy traditions and transformed them into a heavy and powerful stadium-filling sound of a generation.
However, they were not afraid of experimentation - and while their rockier first two albums remain landmarks, Led Zeppelin III and their untitled fourth album demonstrated a more relaxed, folk-inspired aesthetic.
While the band is long since defunct, fans can always celebrate the glory days by heading out to see a tribute act live onstage.
On March 22nd, Led Zeppelin 2 will be travelling to New York to bring the rock giants' music back where it belongs - in front of a live audience.
They will be playing at the Gramercy Theatre - and residents at the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York will be able to drive to the venue in under ten minutes.
