Emmure are a deathcore metal band that were formed in Connecticut back in 2003.
Their debut album Goodbye to the Gallows came out in 2007 - and the band has been strongly prolific since then, releasing nearly an LP a year.
Latest effort Slave to the Game was only just released in 2012 - and the band is currently on the road in support of this new material.
It has been their most commercially successful to date - so many rock fans will undoubtedly be wanting to book travel to New York to experience the group onstage at the Irving Plaza.
Entry costs just $20 - and this is a bargain when support from Unearth, Only the Brave and The Plot in You is taken into account.
Residents at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel will find that they are able to get to the venue in a little under ten minutes if they drive or jump in a taxi.
