Big Head Todd and the Monsters are a rock band who were formed in 1986 in Colorado.

Their debut album - which was entitled Another Mayberry - came out in 1989 and the group has gone on to be remarkably prolific.

Latest album 100 Years of Robert Johnson came out in 2011 and was their 13th.

The band is currently on the road, where fans can expect to be treated to new material as well as deeper cuts from their extensive back catalogue.

On February 16th, Big Head Todd and the Monsters are due to travel to New York to play a live show at the Irving Plaza.

Holidaymakers enjoying some downtime in the Big Apple who are hoping to catch this performance might want to consider booking rooms at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel.

The accommodation is almost two miles from the venue - and the distance can be covered in less than ten minutes by jumping in a cab.
