Avant-garde innovator Autre Ne Veut plays New York
| Date | From 27 February 2013 To 27 February 2013 |
| Address | 96 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10013, United States |
Autre Ne Veut is a hugely distinctive live music performer - and it would not being going too far to describe him as a prodigous talent.
His eponymous debut album came out back in 2010 - and its lovelorn sound drew comparisons with the disparate likes of Marvin Gaye and Big Star.
Follow-up Anxiety is set for release imminently - and the influences this time around appear to be even more eclectic.
Ne Veut cites the likes of great experimentalists such as David Byrne, Lee Scratch Perry, Laurie Anderson and Annie Lennox, as well as contemporary pop giants like Katy Perry and Rihanna.
On February 27th, the rising star is due to travel to New York to play a show at the Santos Party House - and entry costs just $12 plus booking fees.
Residents at the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York will find that they are able to get to the venue in around 15 minutes if they drive or jump in a cab.
