Gripping play The Columnist comes to Nashville
From 18 April 2013 To 04 May 2013Address
TPAC, 505 Deaderick Street, Nashville, TN 37219
The Columnist is a gripping new play that has won widespread critical acclaim for its portrait of the legendary and controversial journalist Joseph Alsop.
For decades, Alsop was considered to be one of the most powerful and influential writers in the US, attracting the respect, love and fear of the Washington social world.
However, as the world of journalism moved through dizzying cultural changes and drastic shifts, Alsop became deeply embroiled in an intensely political and personal drama.
From April 18th to May 4th, a production of the play will be hosted at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville - and this marks its regional premiere.
Entry for the show is charged at a flat rate of $47.50 - and culture vultures travelling to Nashville will not want to miss out on the experience.
By booking rooms at the Millennium Maxwell House Nashville they will have very convenient access to the venue, as it is a mere ten-minute drive away.
