Although she has to work hard in the local steel mill as a welder, she dreams of becoming a professional dancer one day.
As well as the classic songs from the original film - What a Feeling, Maniac, Gloria, Manhunt and I Love Rock & Roll - 16 original compositions are included in the theater version.
Entry for the Nashville performances start at $15 and go up to $60 for those who wish to enjoy the best views in the house.
Visitors to the city would be well advised to consider booking rooms at the Millennium Maxwell House Nashville, as the accommodation is situated a mere ten-minute drive or taxi ride away from the venue.
