Buzzer, the new play form Pillsbury House Theatre, will be performed at the Guthrie Theater on February 16th and it could be a great highlight to a stay in a Minneapolis hotel.
Marion McClinton directs Tracey Scott Wilson's story about a successful African American attorney who returns to his roots to find much has changed.
"[Buzzer] deals with issues swirling around race and gentrification head-on, but it truly makes its case with the thorny, complex relationships among the three characters," states City Pages.
The dark comedy also garnered universal praise when it was performed to sold-out performances at Pillsbury.
Luckily, some tickets are still on sale for Minneapolis run and they are priced from $30.00 – although concessions are available.
Travelling to the Guthrie is easy from the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis. As it is only 1.5 miles away, a car journey along Park Avenue South takes just eight minutes.
