Enjoy An Evening with Art Garfunkel in Minneapolis
| Date | From 27 October 2012 To 27 October 2012 |
| Address | Pantages Theatre, 805 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403 |
Art Garfunkel is an American singer who rose to fame with Paul Simon as half of the duo Simon and Garfunkel.
They achieved chart success with songs like Sounds of Silence and Bridge Over Troubled Water, but split in 1970 due to personal differences.
Garfunkel went on to pursue a solo career and has earned six Grammy Awards since then thanks to a string of hit records.
Despite their issues, Simon and Garfunkel have also reunited many times over the decades, including when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
Now, guests at Minneapolis hotels can catch a live gig by Garfunkel at the city's Pantages Theatre on October 27th.
It is part of a tour in support of his new collection called The Singer, which brings together his entire body of work on two CDs and includes every number one hit from both sides of the Atlantic.
As such, the setlist choice is vast and fans should find themselves thoroughly entertained at the concert.
Residents of the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis will be able to reach the venue very easily, as it is just 11 minutes' walk away via Nicolett Mall.
