See a mystery 3D film in LA
From 17 February 2013 To 17 February 2013Address
Downtown Independent, 251 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States
There is so much to see and do for tourists booking travel to Los Angeles that it can be very difficult to narrow down the to-do list and come up with a manageable itinerary.
However, after taking in major landmarks like the Hollywood sign, it could be fun to look for something really unusual.
On February 17th, the Downtown Independent is playing host to a 3-DIY Open Screen in cooperation with the LA3DClub - and this could fit the bill perfectly.
Audiences are encouraged to bring their own stereoscopic video on a hard drive, flash drive or optical drive.
This means that whatever ends up being shown is almost completely down to luck!
Entry costs $10 - and residents at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles will find that they are ideally placed to access the venue.
It is a little under a mile away - and the distance can be covered in just over five minutes by driving or jumping in a cab.
Important images of Mexico captured through the work of Gabriel Figueroa will be on display at LACMA from September 2013 until February 2014.
A new exhibit at LACMA explores a popular Jewish folk tale in more detail.
