Nick Cave has secured his place in rock history with his long and fearlessly innovative career.
He first rose to prominence as the frontman of Australian post-punk band The Birthday Party, but it was after this when he embarked on a solo career that he really started to earn critical and commercial success.
Backed by a roving band of musicians known as The Bad Seeds, he has worked with a diverse range of artists - everyone from PJ Harvey and Shane McGowan to Kylie Minogue.
In February, his latest album - which is entitled Push the Sky Away - is due to be released and he will be embarking on a world tour to promote the material.
On February 21st, he is set to travel to Los Angeles to perform at the Fonda Theatre - and tickets are available for $140.
Residents at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles will be able to get to the venue in less than 20 minutes when they jump in a taxi.
