Quicksand are a phenomenal post-hardcore band hailing from New York who have been active since the 1990s.
They released just two albums in the early part of that decade - but these won them considerable praise, as well as endearing them to a whole generation of passionate fans.
Inactive for much of the early part of the 21st century, they reformed last year and are hitting the road.
On January 22nd, they will be playing a show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles - and this should prove to be an unmissable event.
Tickets are available for just $28 - and residents at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles are ideally placed to get to the gig.
This is because they are conveniently situated around six miles away from the venue - and the distance can be covered in just 20 minutes by driving or jumping in a taxi.
