The Downtown Independent in Los Angeles is set to host screenings of Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie from October 19th to 25th.
This Japanese anime release is essentially a compilation of episodes from the television series of the same name.
It follows the story of a 14-year-old girl named Madoka Kaname, who is given the chance to gain magical powers.
However, this comes at a price, as in order to benefit from this once in a lifetime opportunity, she must make a contract with a strange little being named Kyubey.
While this creature will also grant Madoka with one wish, she must accept the responsibility of having to fight witches.
Entry for the show is $25 - and the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles could be the perfect place to stay.
It is a little more than half a mile away from the venue - and this should take less than 15 minutes to walk.
