The Durham Performing Arts Center has seen many performances grace its stages over the years, but next month it will welcome an act that could be truly out of this world.

Theresa Caputo, the star of hit TLC show Long Island Medium, will be at the venue on October 23rd and it could prove to be a memorable event for those staying in Durham hotels.

She has been a practicing medium for more than a decade and is certified with the Forever-Family Foundation - an organization dedicated to connecting science with the spiritual.

Caputo became a household name in the US with her TV show, which is about to begin its third season.

Anyone staying at the Millennium Hotel Durham will find it an easy task to get to the Performing Arts Center.

The venue is only a ten-minute drive away, or alternatively, the No. 6 bus will get people there in around half an hour.
