Soul and R'n'B legends The Isley Brothers will travel to Durham for a truly unmissable concert on December 21st.
Appearing at the Durham Performing Arts Centre, Ronald and Ernie Isley are set to treat music fans in North Carolina to a string of hits from the group's highly distinguished career.
Having been recording and performing for more than half a century, The Isley Brothers first made their mark with huge chart successes such as Twist and Shout in the 1960s.
They toured with a then-unknown Jimi Hendrix as their guitarist and also had Elton John playing keyboards during an early European jaunt.
More recently, the Grammy Award-winners have collaborated with R'n'B superstars such as R Kelly and many of their popular songs from the 1970s and 80s have been sampled by hip-hop acts.
Tickets to see The Isley Brothers in Durham are priced between $45 and $100 plus booking fees.
A room at the Millennium Hotel Durham could suit fans heading to the concert, as it is located just four miles away from the venue. The journey takes less than ten minutes in a taxi.
