Date From 10 March 2013 To 10 March 2013
Address Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St, Durham, NC 27701, US

Lord of the Dance, the smash hit show created 16 years ago by Michael Flatley, will take to the stage at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) in mid-March.

Having sold out arenas and theaters across the world since then, Lord of the Dance has become the highest grossing Irish dance show in the world, with more than 60 million people from 68 countries heading to watch it.

Although Flatley created the concept and staging for the production in 16 weeks, he also paid significant attention to the costumes and lighting, which are practically cinematic in scope.

Discussing the show, Flatley says: "Irish dance lovers and music fans alike will experience the engaging, rhythmic adventure that has helped catapult Celtic dance mania and Irish dancing into the global spotlight."

Lord of the Dance will appear at the DPAC on Sunday March 10th. Ticketholders looking for accommodation close to the venue should book a room at the Millennium Hotel Durham.
