Il Divo to play live in Durham this year
From 07 May 2013 To 07 May 2013Address
Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St, Durham, NC 27701
Sebastien Izambard, Carlos Marin, David Miller and Urs Buhler were first brought together as Il Divo back in 2003 by pop mogul Simon Cowell, who had spotted a gap in the classical music market.
Their first album was released in 2004, but it was after the group sang the official song for the 2006 FIFA World Cup that their place on the world music stage was cemented and they have since gone on to become international superstars.
Now, guests at Durham hotels have the chance to catch them in concert at the city's Performing Arts Center for one night only on May 7th.
This Best of ll Divo Tour will include their signature classical interpretations of popular songs as well as brand new tracks, all backed up with a full orchestra.
Fans can enjoy songs like Somewhere, Unbreak My Heart, Unchained Melody and Adagio - but it may be a good idea to act quickly for tickets, as many of their 2012 shows were sell-outs.
Residents of the Millennium Hotel Durham who decide to venture along could be best taking a taxi to the venue and back, as this will only take around nine minutes.
