Country for Kids brings music to young audiences

Country for Kids is a special concert that is being hosted at the Durham Performing Arts Centre on November 27th.
It is hoped that the event will help to bring the musical genre to a whole new generation of fans - and entry prices start at just $50, going up to $100 for the best seats in the house.
The show is comprised of live performances from some of the finest proponents of country music who are at work today.
These include Kix Brooks, Scotty McCreery, Lee Brice, Gloriana, Josh Thompson and Jason Michael Carroll.
It is also a major fundraising event - and all proceeds from the venture will go to benefit the North Carolina Children's Hospital.
Holidaymakers spending time in the city could consider booking rooms at the Millennium Hotel Durham, which is conveniently located just four miles away from the venue.
The journey should take less than ten minutes in a taxi.
