Robinson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
Now, guests at Cincinnati hotels can catch this musical behemoth when he stops off at the city's Riverbend Music Center on June 8th.
Tickets are on sale now and are priced depending on seating area within the venue.
However, they are sure to be a bargain as Robinson delves into his vast back catalogue to show fans just why Bob Dylan called him America's "greatest living poet".
The Millennium Hotel Cincinnati could be the ideal base for the concert as the venue can be reached in only 14 minutes by car from there using Interstate 471.
The world-renowned heavy metal and rock band Alice in Chains are to play at the Horseshoe Casino, Cincinnati, on May 17th 2014.
