Philadanco is bringing its unique mix of arts to the Aranoff Center this month and it could be an ideal show to see while staying in a Cincinnati hotel during the Easter holidays.
The dance company was created in Philadelphia back in1970 to address the lack of opportunities for minority dancers in the Delaware Valley.
But in the four decades since then, Philandanco has moved from being a community-based company to an internationally-renowned institution.
This show which is being staged on March 22nd and 23rd, celebrates its 40th anniversary with a collection of some of their great work from the past as well as new routines such as Wake Up by prominent hip hop choreographer Rennie Harris.
Tickets for the shows are still on sale and priced from $27.00.
People who are travelling to see the event may want to stay at the Millennium Hotel Cincinnati As this will allow them to get to the venue in plenty of time as it is just a six-minute walk away.
