Cincinnati's Aronoff Center for the Arts will be transformed into a magical wonderland this holiday season as the venue plays host to a sparkling new production of The Nutcracker.
The festive favourite, which famously featured Tchaikovsky's celebrated score, has been reimagined by the venue's artistic director and chief executive Victoria Morgan, with brand new choreography and set design.
At its heart, however, the show remains true to the much-loved original, meaning the Arts Center stage will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with dancing mice and snowflakes.
The show, which will feature the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, will be staged between Friday December 14th and Sunday December 23rd, with matinee performances taking place on weekends.
And, though the venue is able to hold more than 2,000 people, this festive favourite is sure to sell out fast, meaning families booking rooms in Cincinnati hotels should also buy their tickets well in advance so as to avoid disappointment.
The Millennium Hotel Cincinnati is perfect for holidaying families, not least as it is just moments away from Cincinnati Zoo.
