Trey McIntyre comes to Chicago next month
| Date | From 30 November 2012 To 30 November 2012 |
| Address | Harris Theatre for Music & Dance, 205 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601, United States |
Chicago's Harris Theatre will be hosting the city's premiere of the new dance piece from Trey McIntyre.
His latest project is called Ladies and Gentle Men, inspired by Free to Be... You and Me. It will be on the stage at the venue on November 30th and it could be an ideal night out for anyone staying in Chicago hotels around this time.
Trey McIntyre is currently one of the hottest prospects in US dance and has created more than 90 major works for companies such as the American Ballet Theatre, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and the New York City Ballet.
He said the dance at the Harris is not a "literal rendering" of the original.
"It is my interpretation of how the songs and stories made me feel as a child and how I feel about them now as I look back," explained the master choreographer.
People can get to the venue from the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago in less than ten minutes if they drive down North Michigan Avenue.
