The Faint will be performing their landmark album, Danse Macabre, to what is set to be a packed house at the Metro in Chicago just before Christmas.

Released back in 2001, the cult classic won widespread praise for fusing the genres of dance and rock, bringing the synthesiser-heavy sounds of the 1980s to a new generation.

Now, the five-piece are taking the album back on the road, with the Metro set to be one of a handful of venues where its tracks will be performed back to back for the first time in more than a decade.

As well as numbers from Danse Macabre, the December 12th show will see The Faint perform tracks from their impressive back catalogue, including the darker-sounding hits of more recent years.

Of all the Chicago hotels, the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago is arguably the best-placed to stay in for such a celebratory gig, being not only well-located in the city centre but also boasting its own rich heritage - not least its iconic 1920s exterior architecture.
