Braid are set to become the latest band to bring a touch of nostalgia to Chicago when they play their classic album 'Frame and Canvas' in its entirety at the Metro in December.
Formed in 1993, the Illinois group carved out a name for themselves within the late-90s rock scene.
While their best-known album won critical acclaim, it failed to propel them to the starry heights enjoyed by many of their contemporaries.
However, following a brief reunion in 2011, Braid have finally gotten back together for real and are set to bring their eagerly-anticipated show to the Windy City on Sunday December 16th.
As well as playing their biggest release in order, the four-piece will also dip into the rest of their back catalogue and even showcase some new material, giving fans staying in Chicago hotels for the date an early Christmas present.
Nostalgia-loving tourists can also experience the history of one of the city's most famous hotels, with the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago offering a special 85th anniversary package between now and the end of the year.
