Address N Clark St, Chicago, IL, USA

The Afghan Wings are an innovative rock band who enjoyed considerable success in the 1990s with highly acclaimed albums such as Congregation and Gentlemen.

They have recently reformed and are currently touring a selection of old favourites - as well as some new material.

On October 26th, they are due to hit Chicago for a gig at the Metro - and a second date has been added on the 27th due to popular demand.

Entry costs $36 - and this will easily justify itself as the band are a phenomenal live force.

It will be an unpredictable and contemporary experience - as the group have been known to come out with unexpected twists on gigs such as performing their own version of Pink Floyd's The Wall in its entirety.

By booking rooms at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago, tourists can ensure they are conveniently placed for the gig, as it is just a 15-minute drive away from the venue.
