Pinback are an indie rock outfit who have released five albums since their debut - This is a Pinback CD - was released back in 1999.

While this album was met with a considerable degree of critical acclaim, the group did not immediately find commercial success.

However - thanks in part to their hugely entertaining live shows - they were able to establish a growing fan base.

This helped their last album - 2007's Autumn of the Seraphs - peak at number 69 in the US album charts.

They are currently on the road in support of their latest - which is entitled Information Retrieved.

On November 17th, they are due to hit the Metro in Chicago - and entry costs just $16 in advance, or $19 at the door on the day of the show.

Residents at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago will find that they are a mere 15-minute drive away from the venue.
