I Fight Dragons have confirmed a special homecoming show, set to take place at the Metro on Friday December 14th.

The five-piece, who have just got back from taking part in the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, are set to bring their unique brand of 'geek-rock', complete with video console sound effects, to the venue that helped make their name in a show that will be open to fans of all ages.

While I Fight Dragons may be best known for their love of props and geeky outfits, they have also won critical acclaim for their music, meaning gig-goers booking into Chicago hotels should be in for a memorable evening.

Fans of geek-rock may also be fascinated by the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago.

Dating back to 1927, the hotel was designed by the renowned Windy City architects Rissman and Hirschfield and has established itself as one of the best-known and best-loved buildings in the whole of Chicago.
