Address Harris Theatre for Music & Dance, 205 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601, United States

Classical music fans staying in Chicago hotels for Thanksgiving have been given an early gift from the Harris Theatre.

On November 19th, the venue will be hosting a special concert that showcases the works of one of the genre's masters - Johann Sebastian Bach.

Bravura Bach, Orchestral Works will see Nicholas Kraemer lead the Music of the Baroque Orchestra in their performance of many fine pieces, including the Fourth Orchestral Suite and the uplifting E Major Violin Concerto, with the acclaimed Robert Waters on the showpiece string instrument.

The Chicago Sun-Times states: "Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra may be the big guys on the local classical music scene, but in terms of sheer quality of performance … Music of the Baroque inhabits the same stratosphere."

It is easy to get to the Harris Theatre from the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago, as it takes just five minutes in a taxi to get there.

Alternatively, the walk down North Fairbanks Court will only take 25 minutes.
