Dance Gavin Dance are an experimental post-hardcore band hailing from Sacramento in California.

They brought their six members together from the remains of several other bands that folded at more or less the same time.

These included Farewell Unknown, Ghost Runner on Third and Atherton - with Jonny Craig and Sean O'Sullivan joining in 2005 and early 2006 to complete the line-up.

Long-time fans of the band will not want to miss out on a chance to see the band right now, as they are currently on the road promoting their latest album.

Entitled Downtown Battle Mountain II, it is the sequel to their debut of the same name.

On November 30th, Metro in Chicago will be playing host to a performance by the band - and entry costs just $17 in advance, or $19 on the day of the show.
