Chris Tucker set for Chicago Theatre show
| Date | From 12 April 2013 To 12 April 2013 |
| Address | Chicago Theatre, 175 N State St, Chicago, IL, US |
American actor and comedian Chris Tucker is set to headline the Chicago Theatre in mid-April.
Best known for playing Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series, Tucker broke through on the stand-up scene as a performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s.
He rose to nationwide fame in 1995 when he starred in the hit comedy film Friday alongside Ice Cube and went on to land a role in Luc Besson's The Fifth Element.
In 2006, Tucker became the highest-paid actor in Hollywood at the time when he negotiated a $25 million payday for his role in the film Rush Hour 3.
Loved by fans for his trademark quick-witted wisecracks, Tucker is returning to Chicago by popular demand and will take to the stage twice at the Chicago Theatre on Friday April 12th.
Gig-goers seeking accommodation close to the venue should look no further than the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago, which is just five minutes' drive away.
