Gene Siskel Film Centre, 164 N State Street, Chicago, IL 60601
Black Harvest Film Festival will return to Chicago this August to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
The longest running black film festival in the city, the Black Harvest Film Festival will be held from August 1st to 28th, and will provide a platform for films that tell moving stories and provoke discussion.
And indeed, as well as simply screening films, the festival will host a number of Q&A sessions to help audiences get that little bit more out of the experience.
The event will be hosted in the Gene Siskel Film Center, which has presented independent, international and classic cinema for almost four decades. Previously, it was known as the Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and it's one of the most exciting and prestigious cinematic venues in the city.
