Take time to gaze at distant stars in Buffalo
From 29 June 2013 To 29 June 2013Address
Buffalo Museum of Science, 1020 Humboldt Parkway, Buffalo, New York 14211
Stars have enthralled human beings for thousands of years and the technology available now means we can get a better look at them than ever before.
Guests at Buffalo hotels with an interest in this sort of thing might want to participate in a special evening of astronomy by heading to the city's Museum of Science on the evening on June 29th.
This is when the institution will be hosting Star Lights: The Celestial Bodies Edition from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. EDT.
Attendees will be treated to spectacular city views and peeks at distant stars by members of the Buffalo Astronomical Association on the rooftop, as well as guides to constellations indoors, all for just $40.
Food and wine will also be available for anyone who fancies a treat during the proceedings.
And speaking of treats, VIP tickets for the event ($60) will allow visitors to gain admission from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. EDT and to enjoy cocktail demonstrations in the museum's bar.
It is sure to be a stellar evening for anyone who goes along and guests at the Millennium Hotel Buffalo will be able to get there in just ten minutes by taxi.
