Badfish are a tribute to the much-loved Sublime - one of the seminal voices in the ska punk movement of the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Sublime only recorded three albums before lead singer and guitarist Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose - but their eponymous final release is considered a classic among fans of the genre.

Indeed, Badfish have now won a considerable degree of critical acclaim in their own right - being nominated for Best Tribute Act in the Boston Music Awards back in 2008.

Fans of Sublime who never got to see the original act will be able to do so by booking rooms in Buffalo hotels on November 3rd and 4th, as Badfish are playing gigs at the Town Ballroom on those dates.

Entry costs $17 in advance - and the Millennium Hotel Buffalo could be the ideal accommodation, as it is a short, 15-minute drive away from the venue.
