Leftover Salmon are a band of musical pioneers whose distinctive sound is highly difficult to categorise.
They have been making rootsy, string-based music for almost the past 25 years - and they have been touring extensively since their inception way back in 1989.
In 2005, the group was placed on hiatus after banjo player Mark Vann lost his battle with cancer - but they are back and better than ever with a new album in the works.
Formed in Boulder, the collective is set to perform a homecoming show in the city on November 23rd.
Taking place at the Boulder Theatre, tickets cost $27.50 when booked in advance - or alternatively they can be purchased for $32.50 on the date of the show.
Visitors to the city who are looking for a place to stay would be hard-pressed to find a better location than the Millennium Harvest House Boulder.
This is because the venue is conveniently situated a short, five-minute drive or taxi ride away from the gig venue.
