Travel to Boulder, Colorado in May this year to join in with a much-loved annual event that serves as the unofficial start to the summer season.
The Boulder Creek Festival will feature a range of events from 9th to 14th streets, between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue, on the last weekend on May 26th, 27th and 28th.
All sorts of activities, food, entertainment and other experiences unique to the Boulder community will be on offer during the three days, with this year's celebrations set to be particularly special as the festival marks its 25th anniversary.
Some 500 vendors will showcase and sell a range of items, including community arts and crafts, while five performance stages will feature live music and dance.
You can also head to the festival site during your stay at the Millennium Harvest House Boulder to enjoy carnival rides and experience the weekend's signature event - the rubber duck race.
Members of the public can visit the Boulder Creek Festival for free from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. MST on the first two days and from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. MST on the final day.
Head back to your hotel after a busy day to enjoy a relaxing drink or a meal at Coaches Corner, an interactive sports bar.
