John Oliver is a hilarious comedian who is best known to audiences in the US for his work on The Daily Show with John Stewart.
A native to the UK, he has also become known for his semi-regular appearances on comedy panel show Mock the Week.
Fans of television sitcom Community may recognise him from his recurring role as Professor Ian Duncan.
On November 17th, Oliver will be bringing his latest set of stand-up material to the Wilbur Theatre in Boston.
Entry for this show starts at $22 (plus booking fees) for seating in the floor section, while access to the Mezzanine area will cost $30.
Visitors to the city will struggle to find a more ideally suited place to stay than the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston.
This is because the accommodation is a mere five-minute drive away from the venue - and jumping in a taxi is really not an issue.
An exhibition at a museum in Boston will show how the poses of people in Renaissance paintings are significant.
