On December 15th, the Wilbur Theatre in Boston will be playing host to a performance from much-loved stand-up comic Amy Schumer.

Her big break came in 2004, when she appeared on a Comedy Central special entitled Last Comic Standing.

Since this major appearance, Schumer has gone on to be a frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show - and also has a recurring guest spot on Fox News late-night programme Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.

She has also branched out into comic acting, with roles in the NBC shows 30 Rock and Live at Gotham, as well as mockumentary Delocated and the internationally-acclaimed Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Entry for the Boston show costs between $27 and $23 - and residents at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston will find that they can get to the venue by taking a 20-minute walk up Washington Street.

This will take just five minutes in a taxi for those who do not feel like stretching their legs.
