Sigur Ros are a band from Iceland whose distinctively ethereal sound has been categorised variously as ambient and post rock.

The group is perhaps best known for delivering its songs in a very distinctive fashion.

Frontman Jonsi Birgisson writes his lyrics and sings in Vonlenska - a non-literal language that was invented by the band.

Sigur Ros are currently on the road in support of their latest album - which is entitled Valtari and was released last May.

On March 26th, the band is set to take to the stage at the Agganis Arena in Boston - and ticket prices start at $40.50, going up to $51 for the best seats in the house.

Residents at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston will find that they are very conveniently placed to access the venue, as it should take less than 20 minutes to get there if they drive or jump in a taxi.
