Date From 17 November 2012 To 17 November 2012
Address Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02116, United States

Critically acclaimed stand-up Doug Stanhope will be performing a set of his latest material at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston on November 17th.

Stanhope has been active on the live comedy circuit since 1990 and takes pride in his self-styled drunk, vulgar and uninhibited stage persona.

He may be most recognisable to UK television audiences for his regular appearances on Charlie Brooker's Newswipe, but this simply does not compare to seeing him live.

Indeed, he was selected by both Variety and the Hollywood Reporter as one of their top ten comics to watch - and is also a two-time winner of Time Out New York's Best Comedy Performance of the Year Awards.

Entry prices are $27 - plus a $6 booking fee - and residents at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston will find that they are merely a short, five-minute taxi ride away from the venue.

The distance can be covered in 20 minutes on foot for those who feel like stretching their legs.
