Stand-up comic Lisa Lampanelli is set to perform a show at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston on October 20th.

She is self-described as the 'Queen of Mean' - but she is simultaneously a loveable presence on stage.

Lampanelli's shows have been met with widespread acclaim - including from the likes of Howard Stern and Jim Carrey, who said she is "more than a stand-up - a standout".

Tickets for the show can be purchased for $97 - but the best seats in the house are available for a little over $200.

Visitors to the city who wish to see the show could do much worse than booking rooms at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston.

This is conveniently located just one mile away from the venue - and the distance can easily be walked in around 20 minutes by getting on to Tremont Street and heading south until the theatre looms up ahead.
