The Anchorage Folk Festival returns this year
From 17 January 2013 To 27 January 2013Address
The Anchorage Folk Festival returns once again this year to bring an exciting mix of music and festivities to warm the heart of anyone visiting the frozen beauty of Alaska.
This time it takes place in various venues between January 17th and 27th.
Some of the performers set to appear at the event this year include Nancy Rubenstein, Midnight Sun Zombies, Raggedy Banjos, Long and Short of It and Elk de Rouge.
As well as the musical performances, organisers have also lined up a number of exciting side shows including a variety of educational workshops and specialist local dance performances.
With so much going on, to make the most of the two-week long celebrations people may want to stay at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage.
Its central location means that most of the events will only be a short walk away or even if a car is required, a taxi will not be to expensive.
