Heading along to the theater when on holiday is always a nice way to while away an evening and checking out the local acting talent.

People visiting Anchorage hotels this month will be able to see world premiere of a brand new musical entitled Bigfoot and other Lost Souls: A Musical Fable.

The story follows novice scriptwriter Bernie Bernstein who is broke and struggling with a broken heart.

She takes on the only job available - writing a Bigfoot documentary. The quest leads her meet a fugitive weatherman, a Bigfoot expert, a Scottish cable-access camera crew and the sheriff of Mt Shasta.

People will be able to get tickets for one of the shows - running from January 25th to February 3rd - from just $15, with the most expensive seating costing $29.

The Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage is situated just under four miles away, so guests there can get a taxi to the venue in around ten minutes.
