The Sitka Summer Music Festival takes place in Anchorage in February, offering visitors the chance to hear classical chamber music performed by internationally acclaimed artists.

Set to run from February 15th to 17th at the Alaska Pacific University's Grant Hall, the festival will present a string of programmes encompassing different periods in time.

Attendees can look forward to hearing masterpieces from some of the leading composers of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

Tickets for the event range in price from $21 to $50, with proceedings set to get underway at 7:30 pm AKST on Friday February 15th and Saturday February 16th, and 4:00 pm on Sunday February 17th.

As well as heading to the festival, visitors can check out nearby attractions such as the Alaska Botanical Garden, the Alaska Jewish Historical Museum and Cultural Center and the Alaska Museum of Science and Nature.
