Alaska Center for the Performing Arts Inc, 621 West 6th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501, United States
Country and western legend Ramblin' Jack Elliott is heading to Anchorage in early April for a concert at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts (ACPA).
Elliott has had a huge impact on the country music scene. He was the last musical partner of Woodie Guthrie, as well as being the mentor and role model for a young Bob Dylan.
Today, his influence extends to practically every gravelly voiced folk and roots artist in the Western world.
At the concert on Saturday April 6th, Elliott will be joined by two of the performers inspired by his music - Dan Bern and Doug Geeting. Doors at the ACPA are due to open at 7:30 p.m. AKST on the night.
Tickets for the gig are sure to be in high demand, with Elliott's show in Palmer just a few days earlier already sold out.
The Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage can be easily reached from the venue via a ten-minute drive down Spenard Road and Minnesota Drive.
